How often should you wax your face?

You should wax your face every three to four weeks to maintain smooth skin and achieve optimal long-term results. Spacing appointments every three to four weeks allows hair to grow to the ideal length—roughly a quarter-inch—so the wax or sugar paste can grip hair shafts firmly from the root.

Waxing too frequently before hair reaches sufficient length can lead to broken hairs, skin irritation, and patchy results. Conversely, waiting too long lets hair grow back fully, making the removal process slightly more uncomfortable. Maintaining a consistent monthly schedule weakens hair roots over time, causing facial hair to grow back finer, lighter, and far less noticeable between visits. Sticking to a consistent schedule prevents hair from growing back fully and keeps your skin looking fresh month after month.
