What to put on face after waxing?

After facial waxing, apply soothing, non-comedogenic ingredients that calm redness and protect open pores from environmental irritants. Pure aloe vera gel, cucumber extract, or cold-pressed chamomile tea applied with a clean cotton pad work wonderfully to cool inflamed skin. You can also apply a light, fragrance-free moisturizer containing ceramides or hyaluronic acid to restore natural moisture balance.

Avoid applying heavy makeup, scented lotions, alcohol-based toners, or thick facial oils for 24 hours post-wax. Stay away from active exfoliating ingredients like retinoids, vitamin C, alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), and beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs) for at least two days after treatment to give delicate facial skin time to heal naturally without irritation. Mineral sunscreens containing zinc oxide are also ideal for protecting freshly waxed facial skin during daytime hours.
